Robert Quirk - 2007 |

| December 30, 2007-
Life keeps getting better. I had a really great Holiday season,
because my son Justin came to stay with me for Christmas and New Years.
Right now, I am cooking up ham hock and beans, cornbread, and sweet
potatoes. It's good luck to start the New Year with black-eyed
peas, but here in Mexico they aren't available, so we use pinto beans!
I have just sold the business, Cabo Homes and Cabos, and am now planning
on building some condos here in Costa Azul. Hopefully I'll have
photos of the project on next years page! |

Everybody complains about the crowds at Zippers in Costa Azul, but
there are still windows that can be gotten, during certain days, with
nobody out. I had it all to myself on April 11, 2007. |

We went on a
1 month surf trip on the entire Pacific coast of mainland Mexico, from
August 15-September 15. It was one of the most spectacular trips
on my life. Here I am with Justin. |

 |
There were a total of 5 of us crammed in the motorhome. (L-R)
Warren, Toby, myself, and Justin. The 5th person was the
photographer, Joe. |

The mainland of Mexico was really beautiful. Here is a
wave at Rio Nexpa after the Hurricane. |

During the summer, I took the trike on a trip from Todos Santos,
over the mountains to La Paz, then followed the coast all the
way to Cabo San Lucas and back to Todos Santos. I can't
describe in words how beautiful it is, the color of the water,
and the sea life that can be seen. While flying, I saw
Fabio, the pilot of the other trike, who landed with me and took
this photo. I sold Fabio his trike in 2006. |
In December I went to a friends wedding in the city of Merida,
in Yucatan. It was a typical Mexican wedding with lots of
food, drink, music, and dancing. |
